Sunday Services & more for Newcomers, Members and Friends

On Sunday mornings our congregation gathers together for spiritual renewal. We are a vibrant, friendly, liberal religious community coming together to worship and to reflect on what matters most in life. We share key values and welcome diverse beliefs. You are encouraged to visit us, connect, and engage in the many opportunities this congregation has to offer.

Sunday Services at 10:30 am (in the Sanctuary or on Zoom). A congregation member will gladly answer your questions at the welcome table in the lobby. Dress is business-casual to jeans. Masking is currently optional.  Handicap accessible parking is available near our lobby entrance; additional parking is in our back lot. We hope our services, the heart of our congregational life, will nourish your mind and spirit. Childcare available.

Music is an integral part of our services. The Music Support Team performs inspiring and uplifting music that relates to the weekly sermon topic. The Choir sings a variety of songs once a month during service. We welcome you to lift your voice and join our “joyful noise”!

Quest discussion group meets at 9:15-10:15 am (in Dobkin Hall). We invite you, before service, to join our journey of the mind and spirit, as we search, seek, and question.  Quest provides a great opportunity to learn about and discuss a range of topics while getting to know other participants on a deeper level. Upcoming topics are announced via email and in the Weekly Digest. Childcare available.

Religious Education for Children and Youth at 10:30am (classrooms). Our mission is to provide a safe, inclusive environment that encourages life-long intentional faith exploration. Infant and toddler care is available. All staff and classroom volunteers are background checked. For details, click here.

Coffee Hour at 11:30am (Dobkin Hall). Please join us at the conclusion of the Sunday Service for fellowship, coffee, and snacks. This time allows us to connect in friendship, to learn from each other, and to explore opportunities to serve our community and our congregation.

Newcomer Classes: We invite you to attend our Newcomer Classes which are open to all…members, friends or visitors. You’ll learn about the history of UUism, the history of our local congregation, and how you can become involved in our educational, social and volunteer activities. For details, please indicate your interest on the Visitor form.

Celebrations and Rites of Passage honor the important milestones of birth, growth, love, change and passing with compassion and joy. We offer Child Dedication Ceremonies (in lieu of baptisms or christenings); Marriage Services where Unitarian Universalist ministers joyfully bless heterosexual and same-sex weddings, interfaith weddings, atheist weddings and weddings for those with diverse beliefs; Memorial Services and Funerals where we remember, mourn and celebrate.

Love is the power that holds us together and is at the center of our Unitarian Universalist Shared Values. To learn more about Unitarian Universalism (UUism) and our congregation, please explore our website or visit our Welcome table in the lobby on Sunday morning.
